The MSC Houston V is 267 meters long, 35 meters wide, with a maximum draft of 12.5 meters and a gross weight of 44,234 tons. According to the website of the Port Authority of Vigo, the ship arrived from the port of Piraeus.

The containership MSC Houston V, sailing under the flag of Madeira (Portugal), entered the Vigo estuary after a group of containers located on the aft superstructure slid due to adverse weather conditions. The vessel is currently moored at the Termavi terminal in Guixar, awaiting cargo reorganization before continuing its journey to the port of Liverpool.
