20 May 2025 | News

Medlog SA, the logistics arm of one of the world’s largest container operators – Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) – has officially entered the Ukrainian market. In May, the company acquired a 50% stake in Ukrainian intermodal logistics operator N’UNIT and a 25% stake in the border terminal Mostyska.

This is the first transaction of its kind involving a major international player in Ukrainian logistics since the beginning of the full-scale war. The deal is estimated to be worth between 15 and 30 million US dollars.

MSC is a global leader in container shipping, operating a fleet of around 900 vessels and handling an annual transport volume of 27 million TEUs across more than 520 ports worldwide. Medlog is part of the MSC Group and specializes in intermodal transport, with operations in 90 countries.

N’UNIT is a Ukrainian logistics operator with four terminals located in Vyshneve near Kyiv, as well as in Kharkiv, Dnipro, and Lviv Oblast.

The Mostyska terminal (Mostyska Dry Port) is a major logistics infrastructure project developed by Lemtrans in cooperation with partners, situated near the Polish border.
